Prospecting Like a Prostitute
Sometimes the greatest lessons are in the places you’d never think to look. In this video Erik Luhrs will show how workers in “the world’s oldest profession” still have some sales lessons to teach even the most professional and polished salespeople of today.

Thank you Pedro!
how isnulting to suggest that professional salespeople are like prostitutes…. You couldn't find a more appropriate analogy? Really? Early market bazaars and village commerce?
so sad the GURUS have a propensity for the inane
Tim,
Thank you – yet again – for another of your negative comments. I find it fascinating that you have so much free time to watch and deride all my blog posts…I think you're secretly jealous that I have the confidence to speak my mind and put my full name, my company name and my contact info behind it…while you give your first name (is that even really your name?)…and remain untraceable.
Hi Erik, you can tweek your wordpress settings to 'approve' or 'disapprove' any comments.
This will negate the Tim thing.
Good post. I enjoyed
Hans
Hi Hans,
Thanks.
Yes, I know I can zap “Tim” if I like. But I feel it far to post all true comments. The only ones I delete are the automated SPAM ones.
Interesting approach, Erik – makes me look at the somewhat jaded conference/exhibition proposition with a little more enthusiasm.
Hi Tony,
Yes, any industry can be exciting with the right “proposition!”
Hi Erik,
I like your videos and your style. It is open, honest and "real". We need more alpha's like yourself to whip this delicate corporate world back into shape. Lately this world has been so conditioned and jaded with political correctness that everyone gets so easily offended and people have stopped bringing peanuts into schools. boo hoo. Grow some hair or grow a pair!! This message is dedicated to whiny people like TIM, who also needs to learn to use spell check.
Thanks much, Michael!
I thought this was a very good analogy, and it taught me something. Thank you for the presentation. I disagree with the other commenter who thought it was insulting.
I’m glad you could learn from it, Paloma.
Targeting is what it is all about.
Research indicates that companies who have targeting processes are 47% more effective in reaching their sales goals – in every business climate.
And there is what some alternative?
UberVU,
Thanks for the love, guys!
